We Wish You a Merry Christmas!
This year our Christmas tree is wonky and messy, a far cry from my usual freakily controlled color coordinated trees of the past.
But I don't mind, the kids are begining to get creative and I want to embrace and encourage their creative spirit.

My daughter is learning creative writing at school and she is not afraid to express herself as she pleases. In her Christmas card to her teacher instead of writing 'Merry Christmas' she decided to write the whole song. She made enough space on the card by omitting the spaces in between each word, so the result was something like this: "wewishyouamericrismaswewishuamericrismaswewishuamerycrismasfromthebotemofmyhart" I know right? What happened to the 'Happy New Year' bit?
They are also becoming real smart with their Santa's Wish List, cramming in as many toys as possible, see for yourself...
I hope Santa's won the lottery!
But best of all, it's the first year they are really understanding the true meaning of Christmas and nothing was cuter than hearing them at choir practice singing 'Happy Birthday Jesus' for Christmas Eve service, it really warmed "....thebotemofmyhart" :)
Merry Christmas to you and your families!
Heart warming :)
